The London Burlesque Festival (LBF) will be swinging its hips into London next month, making sure So-ho never looked so-hot…
Those who read the fabulous Chic Today Magazine (if you don’t, make sure you do!) will be well aware that here at Chic Today we do love a bit of Burlesque. It is no surprise, therefore, that we are awaiting the 2nd of April with mounting excitement!
Dita von Teese has recently become the internationally-recognised face (and body) of the ‘new Burlesque resurgence’. However, there are hundreds of less-famous Burlesque artists who can titillate and ‘teese’ with the best-of-the-chests in the business.
These are the artists (100 of them!) that have been selected to perform at LBF. They will be performing a variety of acts- from the traditional style of the early, experimental years and 1950s Bump ‘n’ Grind (no, R Kelly will not be appearing, thank goodness) to more contemporary, avant-garde interpretations.
There will be some stripping, a whole lot of singing and outrageously glamourous outfits winging their way to various venues across London from April 2-6 for five fantastically naughty nights.
