The Dark Side Of Fashion Photography: Raphael Daviet

Raphaël is a dear friend and, more importantly, a young, French photographer driven by a true need for creativity and innovation. Coming from the world of advertising, where he learned the basic principles of his art, he has pushed the boundaries further realising that his real passion has always been for Fashion and Beauty imagery.

Working freelance for over 2 years, but shooting since 1999, Raphaël has a dark, sensual, glamourous and deep vision of women. Fascinated by those rare, fragile and yet powerful creatures, he is forever seeking for a stylish way to magnify them.

His inspirations? Céline, Eugènie, Victoria, Laura, Laetitia, Virginie, Crystelle, Yvann…(hey, why am not on the list?!)

Visit www.raphaeldaviet.com for a glimpse into his world.
