Make Mine A Tint!

No longer designated to the back of the shelf as the foundation’s poor cousin, the tinted moisturiser is back with the vengeance! And the reason is simple – the formulations are improved to offer very subtle, natural coverage with base formulae that are packed with skincare benefits! With its lightweight coverage combined with UV and pollution protection, the tint makes an ideal foundation substitute in summer months, so take a look at my favourites!

Crème de la Mer SPF18 Fluid Tint combines the magical properties of the legendary Crème de la Mer with sunscreen and subtle tint in three natural shades. Enriched with tourmaline and Brazilian malachite that in reaction with skin have an antioxidant effect, while seaweed extract prevents the skin from dehydration – in other words, an amazing moisturiser with added benefit of colour!

Becca Luminous Skin Colour with SPF25 is a very sheer moisturising base that contains antioxidant vitamins A, B, D and E that increase collagen renewal and aid in tissue repair while protecting the skin from external elements. That was the very scientific explanation of “makes your skin look deliciously plumped up and young looking” that I notice every time I use it! It is also available in variety of shades to suit many skin tones.

Dior brings us their new Deep Hydration Skin Tint SPF20 that is packed with very sophisticated light-reflecting particles that enhance the skin’s radiance while giving the illusion of perfectly bare, but better looking skin. It corrects imperfections, evens the skintone, and also contains a SPF 20 sun protection and the irrigating Aquacapt™ Complex to reinforce the skin’s natural moisture reserves all day long.

Shiseido continues their philosophy that moisture is the element that keeps our skin looking best by bringing out Tinted Moisture Protection SPF20 as an addition to their extensive range of moisturisers. It will provide intense moisturisation, while the colour will add sunkissed look to your skin.

Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturiser SPF20 has been established for a long time as the tinted moisturiser of choice among make up artists, and thanks to its simple formula that is suitable for even sensitive skin, it continues to be one of the most popular.
