Graff, the infamous British house of diamond jewellery, has kept its promise of perfection by recently creating one of the most important (read: expensive) and finely designed diamond necklaces ever made. The Lesotho Promise Necklace (above) is a product of three months of studies and the careful cut of the renowned Lesotho diamond (named after the South African city from where it was extracted), having been rated as the 15th biggest diamond ever discovered.
The fabulous necklace is set in a minimal dressing that showcases the magnificence of its 26 pure, transparent and flawless diamonds, ranging from 52 carats to the impressive 76.41 carat pear-shaped pendant (totalling an impressive 223,5 carats).
Its price is being estimated at well over $50 million, and Graff’s press executives have stated there are serious buyers that have already expressed interest for this little marvel. Up until now, however, no official statement has been made as to which offer will be finally accepted, and thus it has yet to be seen who will become the lucky owner of this creation. I reckon that it will soon find its proper place, hopefully on the elegant neck of a beautiful woman. Too bad my birthday has already come and gone…
