San Francisco: Marilyn Monroe and James Dean: quite possibly two of the sexiest actors that ever lived. Curious to see what they looked like when they weren’t posing for the camera? A collection of rare candid snapshots, aptly named Forever Young, is currently on display, offering a glimpse into the real lives of these celebrated icons (left.) And should you decide that they may need to live in your home, the prints are also available for purchase.

Tokyo: Picture this: romantic lighting, lavish surroundings, delicious wines, and breathtaking views, all located in the penthouse of a skyscraper in Shibuya. And yes, that’s in Tokyo, not Tuscany. You don’t have to travel far to find some fine wine to imbibe. Legato wishes to minimize your commute. Paris: It’s winter, c’est vrai, but Nice can still be a viable option for a mini break holiday, especially during Carnaval. Maybe you went as a child and loved the huge heads that bobbed down the packed streets, or perhaps you want to experience the festivities as an adult that can party into the music of the night. In any case, it’s a hop, skip and a jump from the cold city winds of Paris, and may provide just the sort of distraction you’re aching for this time of year.
