The Organic Truth

Years ago, organic products were dismissed as an expensive fad. From food to cosmetics, critics argued that paying more for chemical-free goods was absurd. Fast forward a decade and natural products have invaded shops and shelves across the globe.

This trend has been particularly marked in the beauty and cosmetics industry, as growing numbers of informed buyers are going the extra mile to source products in the name of organic beauty. One need only scan the ingredients list of common soaps and shampoos to realise the number of chemicals packed into them. Do you see Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLS) or Sodium Lauryl Ether Sulphate (SLES)? These are common lathering agents that are also used in floor cleaners and car detergents, and known to cause irritation and inflammation.

Steer clear of chemicals and embrace organic beauty products but remember, organic does not mean hypoallergenic. Pangea Organics is utterly delicious as are Faraya Skincare, Body Bistro and Organic Apoteke. Saving your skin and the planet never felt this good!
